This Never have I Ever final season is jam-packed with all sorts of craziness as well. So, grab your snacks, cosy up on that couch, and let’s dive right in. No time to waste!
Never Have I Ever Season 4 Summary
The very first episode kicks off with Devi and Ben waking up in bed together after, ahem, losing their virginities. Talk about starting things off with a bang! But here’s the twist: summer rolls around, and these two lovebirds don’t even catch a glimpse of each other! Weird!! Fast forward to fall, the first day of school. Ben strolls in, all cool-like, with his new girl, Margot, and guess what? Devi can’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy and pure anger bubbling up inside her. Ooh, girl, it’s about to go down!
Meanwhile, our boy Paxton ain’t the “legend” he used to be at good ol’ Sherman Oaks. Nope, he’s feeling like a fish out of water over at ASU (Arizona State University, for the unknown) and decides to pull a 180. He drops out of college, returns to his old grounds. But, guess what? He’s not just a student anymore this time, he came back as a teacher. Looking for another plot twist? Well, hold onto your hats, because this year we’ve got ourselves a brand new bad boy in town at Sherman Oaks. Enter Ethan Morales, ready to stir up some trouble and make the hearts of every student skip a beat!
On the other side of Sherman Oaks, Fabiola is on a mission to rally up a crew of kick-ass girls for her robotics club. She’s all about inclusivity and making sure everyone feels like they belong. With Eleanor, things take an interesting turn. She decides to break up with her boyfriend, Trent, because he’s got this crazy idea that Eleanor is some kind of shooting star and deserves someone better. But hold up, Eleanor isn’t wallowing in heartbreak. She got her eyes set on someone new and exciting who is none other than the notorious Ethan.
Speaking of Ethan, brace yourselves for some serious jaw-dropping moments. This bad boy straight-up tells Devi that she’s sexy. Talk about a confidence booster! Devi tries her best to be the moral compass and resist the temptation of going after her friend’s crush, but guess what? All her good intentions go out the window when she spots Ben cosying up with Margot at a party.
And just when you thought the drama couldn’t get any juicier, Ethan decides to take it up a notch. He goes ahead and plants kisses on both Eleanor and Devi. Oh, and let’s not forget about Pati’s new boyfriend, Len. Kamla, always the skeptic, believes that this guy might just be a con artist scheming to get his hands on her grandma’s money. Like I said before, this season is about craziness!
Amidst all the high school drama, it’s time for Devi to get serious and handle those college applications. The pressure is on as she aims to make a killer first impression on the Princeton representative. Devi puts her best foot forward, giving it her all, and guess what? She actually manages to impress!
But hold up, there’s more! It’s time for those campus visits and this time they are going to explore New York. Here comes another twist! Fabiola is absolutely terrified to spill the beans to Devi that she, too, applied to Princeton. Hearts shatter into a million pieces when reality sets in. Returning home, Devi receives the dreaded waitlist from Princeton and rejections from all the other Ivy League schools. Ouch!
But fear not, for our girl Devi isn’t one to give up easily. She’s got one final shot, one last essay to submit to Princeton. Will she muster up the courage and seize this opportunity to make her dreams come true? Will she get into her dream university, or is it time to embrace a new path? Well, I am gonna leave that to you to find out from the series itself!
Never Have I Ever Season 4 Ending
Fast forward to the ending now! We all knew Devi was destined for greatness, no matter where she ended up. But let me tell you, this season takes her transformation to a whole new level. She goes from being an angry and volatile teenager to becoming the most understanding friend and supportive daughter.

Now, let’s talk about that ending. It had some people doing cartwheels of joy while leaving others with mixed feelings. But in my humble opinion, it was absolutely perfect. And here’s a little spoiler for you, so beware: I think Ben and Devi make the ultimate power couple. They just click, you know? Picture-perfect harmony. So brace yourselves for some serious relationship goals!
As the story wraps up, we find Devi at Princeton, rocking her dream school, while Ben lands himself at Columbia. And Pati walks down the aisle with none other than Len!! Meanwhile, Nalini Vishwakumar, Devi’s kick-ass mom, is ready to embrace a new phase in her life as well. Like she said, It’s all about moving forward and exploring new horizons. Also, let’s not forget about Devi’s fabulous friends. Fabiola, the genius of robotics, heads off to Howard University to pursue her passion even further. And Eleanor, the creative genius, steps into the world of directing!
And what about Kamala? Well, she packs her bags and moves to Baltimore with Manish, ready to embrace a brand new adventure. Last but not least, our boy Paxton is back at ASU, hitting the books to become a teacher for real this time. Way to go, Paxton!

Never Have I Ever Season 4 Review
If you’re like me, you’re definitely gonna love this show. Let’s be real here, there are a few moments throughout the series that make you go, “Wait, what?” But, at the end of the day they’re teenagers and they’re bound to do some pretty stupid things! Lol!
Now, let’s talk about some bad stuffs! Personally, I felt it was a tad rushed towards the end. We didn’t get to see how things wrapped up for a few characters, which left me craving for more closure. And let’s not forget about Aneesa. I would have loved to see more of her this season. Give the girl some screen time, people!
And can we take a moment to talk about Ethan, please? I mean, come on. We wish he could have been there for more episodes. It felt like his presence was mainly to add a touch of glamour, without a real purpose. Oh, Ethan, we wanted more of you! Despite these minor hiccups, this show is still totally binge-worthy, especially if you’re a fan of teen and high school dramas. So grab your popcorn, cosy up on that couch, and get ready for a wild ride. It has it flaws, but if this genre is your jam, you’re gonna have a blast! Have a good one!
