One of the most visible signs of security measures is the official state vehicle. The Queen of England, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II may not have the power that she once had, but she still holds a powerful figure in the hearts of all British people.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II holds a huge number of classic car collection which clearly shows her love for cars. It’s not an exception when it comes to the official state vehicle. The Queen of England travels in style, in a car created especially for her. Presented to Her Majesty for her golden jubilee in 2002, the Bentley State Limousine is the Queen of England’s favourite mode of transport.

No.1 – Make and Production
The Bentley State Limousine, a modified version of Bentley’s Arnage R, is 2.723 ft longer, 10 inches taller, and 2.7 inches wider than the standard Bentley Arnage. Powered by a twin-turbocharged, Rolls-Royce – Bentley L Series V8 engine can produce 400 hp and 835 Nm of torque, with a maximum speed of 130 miles per hour. Moreover, the doors open at a 90-degree angle so that she can walk directly out of the vehicle, without any effort (Source – Wikipedia).
The unique bodywork was built by Bentley’s Mulliner coachbuilding division. The interior was designed by the British textile manufacturer Hield Brothers; with lambswool sateen cloth which we can only dream of. For the protection of its occupants, the bodywork and glass are armoured; the cabin can be sealed air-tight in case of a gas attack and is also blast-resistant, and the tyres are kevlar-reinforced.

No.2 – Royal Standard Flag and Royal Arms
When the Queen is on board, the Bentley “Flying B” emblem in the bonnet is either replaced by the Queen’s personal mascot of Saint George slaying a dragon or a single standing lion. The Bentley State Limousine roof will have an illuminated coat-of-arms and a pennant. These usually feature the royal coat of arms and the Royal Standard respectively, although other symbols can be used for occasions such as a state visit.

No.3 – No one can buy it
The Bentley State Limousine is one of the rarest models ever produced by Bentley. In fact, only two of these vehicles were built and both belong to the Queen, making it even rarer than the Rolls-Royce Phantom IV, which was similarly built for royalty and heads of state. These two limousines are said to be valued at £10 million each.

No.4 – Her Majesty’s other rare collections
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has 25 cars which include some custom-built rare ones. One of the custom-built ones is the 2015 Range Rover LWB Landaulet, used by the queen for everyday royal processions. She also owns a 2002 Land Rover Defender and a 1953 Land Rover Series 1.
She also holds some classic collections like 1965 Mercedes Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet, 1953 Humber Super Snipe, 1961 Rolls-Royce Phantom V, 1948 Daimler DE, 1951 Ford V8 Pilot, 1966 Aston Martin DB6, 1930 Citroen C4 and many more.
Last but not the least, The Royal Gold State Coach is probably the most ornated vehicle to have ever existed. Since its first appearance in 1762, the royal family pulls this stagecoach out for only the most formal of events. This is used for coronation events and other ceremonies that relate directly to the ruling monarchy. We might be able to see this being used for the coronation of a new king.
