Unlucky Like Us by Krista and Becca Ritchie – Unlucky Like Us Review – The second book of Lunnelly and pre-final book to the Like Us series continues the saga of our beloved human and his space babe. The previous book ends on the roof of hale house as Donnelly leaves after making a promise to Loren Hale. If you thought that ending was not fair , this book is going to break your Lunnelly heart .

In this book, Donnelly tries to protect Luna from his family by pretending to hate on famous families and get in good terms with his father. Luna and Donnelly believe they are two unlucky people in love. Luna is Donnelly’s light and reason of existence. Who knew the hot bodyguard of SFO who is a die-hard fan of Cobalts will fall for the Hales. Right, without further ado, let’s get into the review in detail.

Unlucky Like Us by Krista and Becca Ritchie – Unlucky Like Us Review – Unlucky Like Us Summary

I was way too excited to read this book. I just completed rereading the Like Us series. Well, if you read the Addicted/Calloway series , you already know and love the core six. But if your starting off with the Like Us series , and Luna and Donnelly are your first couple in the series, you would probably not understand the dynamics and relationships of these families on a deeper and personal level. You will probably not like a few characters and believe there is not a single character on this series that you wont fall in love with.

Lily and Lo are always Lily and Lo. Their love can be written for more books than what we already have. Connor and Lo are the same as ever. Ryke and Rose were missed dearly in this book. I would have loved to read Luna’s dynamics with her aunts and uncles .Luna’s friends Eliot and Tom are the kind of friends you would want after a bad day.

To talk of the Hale Children, we know Moffy is the protective big-brother we have been reading for over 11 books now. Xander Hale, the little brother has my heart. Readers who begin with this book might not understand him but if you have been reading from the first book, you understand what I am saying. There was a scene where I shed tears for him. Kinney Hale, the littlest and the most fiercest Hale has always got her sister’s back.
